These techniques generally do not consider the material handling operations by assuming that the material handling equipments are always available and the handling time can be ignored. In systems with significant material handling time, ignoring the material handling operations may cause the material handling equipment allocation that does not fit the need for part transportation. In this study, a scheduling model considering material handling equipments as resource will be developed.
