Jika saja kita dapat memanaatkan 0,1% luas daratan negara kita ini untuk menghasilkan enrgi listrik dengun memasang panel surya pada atap rumah, perkantoran dan juga lainnya dengun kira-kira 2000 km2 atau sama dengan- 2.000.000 m2 -. Indonesiad dapat mendapatkan radiasi sebesar 5 kWh\/m2 setiap harinya sehingga dapat kita peroleh kira-kira 10.000.000.000 Wh\/hari atau sama dengan 10.000GWh \/ hari.
