Proses manufaktur yang dilakukan untuk membuat control chamber yaitu proses pengecoran. Kegagalan yang seringkali pada pada control chamber adalah terjadi kebocoran pada saat dilakukan pengujian tekanan 5 bar. Studi kali ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya kebocoran dan memperbaiki sifat mekanik hasil pengecoran. Pada penelitian ini, sampel dibuat dengan proses pengecoran dan komposisi kimia yang sama dengan control chamber dan dilanjutkan dengan precipitation hardening untuk memperbaiki sifat mekanik. Proses precipitation hardening dilakukan dengan solution heat treatment pada temperatur 540 oC, natural aging dan artificial aging pada temperatur 170 oC. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi uji komposisi kiimia, uji kekerasan, uji tarik dan analisa struktur mikro. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan harga kekerasan setelah mengalami precipitation hardening meningkat hampir dua kali lipat dibandingkan dengan kondisi as cast. Porositas terjadi pada sampel as cast dan yang telah mengalami perlakuan panas.
