Pasut merupakan fenomena naik turunnya paras laut yang disebabkan oleh gaya tarik bulan dan matahari yang memiliki pergerakan periodik yang teratur sehingga sangat dimungkinkan pasut beserta besaran-besarannya bersifat periodik juga. Penelitian ditujukan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi proses cyclostationarity pada data pasang tinggi sehingga dapat dibuat suatu model perilakunya yang dapat digunakan untuk prediksi pasang tinggi. Data pasang tinggi dicuplik dari data pasut mulai Oktober 2006 s.d Juli 2008 di Benoa Bali yang kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi dua bagian yang diasumsikan mewakili kondisi saat bulan purnama dan bulan mati dengan durasi 21 bulan. Pemodelan pasang tinggi dilakukan setelah diketahui kecenderungan data terlebih dahulu. Selanjutnya dihitung koefisien korelasi antara data dan hasil model untuk melihat seberapa besar hasil model dapat mewakili data. Dari penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pasang tinggi di Benoa, Bali merupakan suatu proses cyclostationarity dengan periode satu siklusnya lebih kurang 385 hari dan rentang perubahannya lebih kurang 60 cm. Ditemukan juga bahwa diperlukan data lebih dari dua tahun untuk analisis yang lebih detail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ABSTRACT<\/p>\n<p>A cyclostationary process can be viewed as a multiple interleaved stationary process. Tide is a phenomenon of the rise and fall of sea level due to gravitational forces of the moon and the sun which has a regular periodic movement, so that tide and its properties likely has the periodic behaviour, too.This research is intended to find the possibility of cyclostationary process on spring tides data to model the behaviour for prediction purpose. The spring tides data is sampled from tide data from October 2006 to July 2008 at Benoa, Bali which is divided into two records which is assumed represent the condition of full and new moon. The data has 21 months length. The trend of data must be examined first for modelling the behaviour of spring tidse. After that, the coefficient of correlation between the data and the model is calculated to see the realibily of the model to represent the data. It is found that spring tides in Benoa, Bali is a cyclostationarity process with period for one cycle about 385 hours and has range about 60 cm.
