The increase of concrete consumption in the Iast decades also leads to one ofthe biggest environmental problems.i.e. as an emissions contributor. Due to the huge amount of emissions \u00a0generated by cement \u00a0in concreteproduction, creating up to 5% of worldwide man-made emissions of CO2, previous studies have been focused only on it when assessing the GHGs emission in concrete in concrete\u00a0 industry . With the increasing \u00a0demand from the users and other parties in the industry regarding a detailed \u00a0estimation of the environmentals impacts of materials in new construction projects, this research was intended to provide a basis for assesment \u00a0tools for precast concrete, based on CO2 emission. A set of questionaire was distributed to several precast concrete plants all around Japan in order to determine the indicators thet are \u00a0generally influential to the C02 emissions in the production.
