Sistem mendeteksi api dan asap menggunakan sensor api dan asap yang dihubungkan ke mikrokontroler Arduino UNO. Hasil pendeteksian kemudian dikirimkan melalui SMS (<em>Short Message Service<\/em>) sebagai notifikasi ke dua user yaitu user 1 (pemadam kebakaran) dan user 2 (tim investigasi kebakaran). User 1 (pemadam lebakaran) menerima notifikasi berupa alarm kebakaran.\u00a0 User 2 (tim investigasi kebakaran) menerima notifikasi berupa posisi awal terjadinya kebakaran.
