ABSTRAK

Traffic impact depend on highly intensity of activities system and distribution system to the road network environment. In this case, traffic impact analysis was done in South of Bandung City at Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Bandung (STMB) owned by Telecomunication Education Foundation. Collection and inventory in the existing road network on 2008’s year were done at the administration area of STMB established (Sukapura Village and Citereup Village) as the cordon line of study. The conclusion from modelling transportation analysis on do nothing scenario said the road network performanced around of STMB have been decreased on 2012’s year. That condition happened on major intersection on STMB area (Bojong Soang St. and Telekomunikasi St.Intersection) where the road linked a north of Bandung to the south of Bandung. The value of Degree of Saturation is 0.8. A method for calculating a road performanced based on Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual. To solve the problem of do nothing scenario analysis, on the 1st construction phase (between 2008 to 2012), a project management must be installed a traffic sign as unpermittion parking sign, unpermittion stop sign nearest from major intersection on STMB area. Another kind of action to solve the problem is reschedulling of a shipping construction material. The best time for shipping, exactly on the ordinary unpeak hour. Route of material shipping must be used a major road as Bojong Soang St. On the 2nd Construction Phase or post Construction phase (between 2012 to 2020), a project management must be installed traffic signal and traffic sign on major intersection. Another road where that around over the STMB area (Mengger St. and Sukapura St.) should be at one direction. A single direction start from a main gate of STMB, lead to the south of road and another direction lead to the noth of road. And then, to serve a traffic flow on 2017’s year, a Bojong Soang St. must be widened a road width to 4 lane 2 direction (4/2) with 12 meters width, Dayeuhkolot St. must be widening too as Bojongsoang St. width. On 2017’s year, the road around over STMB area must be widened to 8 meters. Finally, that many kind of proposed could be solve a problem STMB construction impact and post construction impact to the traffic performance on road network around of STMB.
