IMPLEMENTASI MODEL FRAMEWORK “FOR THE RATIONAL ANALYSIS OF MOBILE EDUCATION” (FRAME) DALAM MOBILE LEARNING BERBASIS ANDROID
Mobile phone is not only used for communication. Mobile phone can also be used for a learning process. Learniting is not only conducted in a class by a lecturer, but can also be performed using information technology as a medium as used in e-learning or mobile device learning. Using a mobile device, students are expected to access information nd knowledge anywhere, anytime, so the learning process can be done easily. In this research, the “For the Rational Analysis of Mobile Education (FRAME)” framework is used to analyze the development of mobile learning application. The system developed consist of two parts,first a server side application using php mysql, and second, mobile application based on android. Students are expected to use android application to get the learning material, and the process to maintain the material is conducted by lecturer through server application. The learning material chosen for the application is the Enterpreneur subject, since the subject provides text base materials and does not use large mobile resources. From the results of analyzing. desi gning, implementation. and testing, the developed application works well, the learning process can be conducted easily, and data maintenance can be performed well.
