Rancangan Pendeteksian Harmonisa Tegangan dan Arus Listrik Pada Jala-Jala Menggunakan Mikrokontroler

ABSTRAK

One of negative effects on electrical networks is voltage or current harmonics. It causes the electrical reability, power and voltage decrease. Presently, change on linier to non-linear load propoerties in large quantity has created many problems related to harmonics, i.e. incompatibility of equipment increases, loss rises, system efficiency decreases and accuracy of measurement goes down. To understand on existence of harmonics, it is necessary to design the harmonic detector system.
This manuscript present the design result of harmonic detector system on non-linear loads. This system recorded the voltage 220 V and the curretnt on the rates loads. Firstly, the voltage was gone to 12 V down by the transformer. The voltage and current signals were sent to the signal conditioning circuit, in order to enter the ADC circuit. After that they were changed to the digital signals in order to be received by the control unit, i.e. the microcontroller. From, the control unit, the signals were sent to the RS-232 circuit, and to a computer. In this computer, the data were read in ASCII codes. Furthermore, the data were changed to the hexadecimal codes. Finally, by using Matlab 6.5 versioan software. it wad displayed the signal spectrum of voltage and current on monitor.
The testing result were current and voltage harmonic values. It was calculated the levels of total harmonic distortion (THD). The result were displayed on the voltage and current harmonic spectrums against to the frequencies, that cover the fundamental, third, fifth, seventh and ninth harmonic orders. From the spectrum displays, the results could be seen be occurred the voltage and current amplitudes will decrease as the harmonic orders increase.
