GASIKNAS,
THE WASTE PROCESSING EQUIPMENT BUILT BY ITENAS
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Itenas Alumni Association founded in 2017 has successfully
projected the positive image of Itenas when launching a
waste processing tool called Gasiknas, the shortened version
of Gasifier Ikatan Alumni Itenas. Gasiknas is produced in
four models based on the difference in processing capacity
ranging from the smallest to the biggest scale. The product
for the smallest scale is named Gasiknas 1 which is targeted
for household use. The product for the biggest scale is

Three out of the four different tools developed by Gasiknas
have the ability to process waste without sorting phase
needed. What is more about Gasiknas is its capability of
handling waste without emitting dioxins or poisons as the
byproduct. To promote Gasiknas products, the association
actively participates in various events around West Java
Province, one of which was the Harum Citarum Expo 2019.
By doing this, it is hoped that the products are getting more
acknowledgement as domestic products that reap great
benefits for the society.
